The Girls Cross Country teams had two meets this week. On Thursday the JV squad competed at the Jag Challenge in Bloomingtomn. The JV squad was 2nd out of the 12 entered teams. Margie Freed led the Lightning with a 5th place finish at the 12 team invitaional today. Her time this year was a full 30 second faster than last year. Girls CC Competes in River Falls Extreme Meet

River crossings and muddy embankments added to the challenge of the 3.1 mile cross country race today. Junior Margie Freed was the fastest of the Eastview athletes finishing the course in 22:50. Her time was followed closely by Laura Bestul, McKenzie Benson, Captain Lauren Herland and Hanna Schwartz. The team will compete next week in
