On Thursday Jan 2, the Freshman girls beat Eagan 51-17.
The Lightning played with great defensive teamwork, enthusiasm and intensity, creating 18 steals led by Samantha Quady and Korra Kalaus each with 4 steals and Daniella Oduro 3 steals. Shah’d Ibrahim and Veronica Ortega also had strong defensive efforts. Each player had at least 2 rebounds and one steal in the game.!!
Daniella had team high 9 rebounds.

The lightning were led in scoring by Daniella & Jaysa Randle each with 12 points,
Amy Loch 10, Samantha 8, Lizie Bryant 5, and Korra with 4 ponts.

Next game is at home Tuesday January 7 at 5:00pm against Lakeville North.
