The Eastview Varsity Girls basketball team moved to 20-0 overall and 12-0 in the South Suburban Conference after a 48-42 win over Park on Wednesday night. The Lightning were led in scoring by Emma Carpenter who finished with 13 points. Carpenter also chipped in 5 rebounds and 2 steals. Macy Guebert followed in double figures as well as she finished with 10 points. Guebert also snatched 3 steals. Megan Walstad finished with 9 points, while Mariah Alipate finished with 8 points. Walstad also finished with 6 blocks, 3 rebounds and 3 assists, while Alipate finished with 4 rebounds and 2 assists. Cassidy Carson finished with 6 points, while Andrea Abrams finished with 2 points to round out the scoring for the Lightning. Carson also grabbed 4 rebounds, while Abrams had 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks.

Eastview returns to play on Friday, February 9th, as they head down to Farmington. Game time is set for 7:00. Come cheer on and support the girls as they face off against the Tigers! Go Lightning!!
