The Lightning tighten up the defense to hold Apple Valley to a season low 34 points. The Lightning were lead by Macy Guebert and Emma Carpenter, who scored 24 and 13 points. Guebert also chipped in 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals. Cassidy Carson chipped in 8 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists. Lauren Glas lead the way on the boards, with a team high 8. Michaela Bryan came off the bench to score her first ever Varsity points.

Before the game, Carpenter was recognized as Eastview Girls Basketball All-Time leader in assists. The record was previously held by Erika Schlosser, who totaled 317 assists in her career.

The Lightning are back in action next week, at Prior Lake on Tuesday, at home vs Farmington on Thursday, and at Burnsville on Saturday.
