The JV Girls Basketball team lost to Rosemount for the second time this season by a score of 44-52. Savanah Gardner had a great game with 14 points, 4 rebounds and 2 blocked shots. Caitlyn Han played solid defense against Rosemount’s best player and also chipped in 6 points. Olivia Ward was the leading rebounder with 6, followed by Lauren Machacek with 5. The team played extremely hard, but were out-rebounded and committed too many turnovers to pull off a victory. Other scorers for the Lightning were Robyn Dayton, Machacek, Ellie Fulford, Vanessa Wright, Ward, Claire Pepin and Britta Hagen.
