The Lightning Freshman lost 61-46 to a very good and defensively aggressive Lakeville South team 61-46 on Thursday Jan 16.
The Freshman girls played hard, but could not overcome a 23 point half time deficit.
However, team did not give up and out scored Lakeville in second half 34-26.

Leading the Lightning in scoring Samantha Quady with 14 points, Lizie Bryant 12 points,
Korra Kalaus 11 points, (playing only 2nd half), Jaysa Randle 8 points and 12 rebounds and Veronica Ortega rounded out the scoring with a nice free throw.

Daniella Oduro, Shah’d Ibrahim, Amy Loch and AviElla Raspberry helped team achieve a season high 45 rebounds !

Next game Tuesday January 21 at Prior Lake..
