The Eastview Sophomore Baseball team won 18-8 over Prior Lake on Thursday night. The Lightning offense was red hot pounding out 15 hits in the team’s fifth consecutive win. Isaiah Heimer, Jack Pepin, Josh Breuer, and Will Mich each had two hits to pace the Lightning offense. Heimer, Breuer, and Austin Field also reached base on balls two times each. A big first inning saw the Lightning score seven runs after two outs. The Lakers battled back cutting the lead in half after first inning. The Lightning scored four and five runs in the second and third innings to extend the lead and they would never look back. Will Mich started on the mound for the win and Josh Breuer completed the save for the Lightning pitching the final three innings. The Lightning improve to 6-2 overall and will play Shakopee on Monday night. Go Lightning!
