The Eastview Sophomore Baseball team beat Farmington 3-2 on Tuesday night. Caleb Fuller pitched a complete game allowing two runs on seven hits and striking out 6 batters for the win. With the game tied 2-2 in the bottom of the seventh inning, Max Simser walked to start the inning. Isaiah Heimer singled on a bunt which advanced Simser to second base. Fuller proceeded to lay down a bunt which was thrown away by Farmington scoring Simser and giving the Lightning the win. Heimer led the offense with two hits while Fuller, Carter Jensen, Austin Field, Aaron Lagios, and Aidan Schaefer added a hit a piece. Simser reached the bases three times on walks. The Lightning improve to 4-2 overall and will face Apple Valley on Wednesday at home. Go Lightning!
