The Eastview/Eagan Combined JV Alpine Ski team had their final meet of the season Tuesday evening with the JV Championship held at Buck Hill. Conditions were icy making the course fast and very tricky, punishing skiers for being too aggressive on the ice while also punishing skiers for not being aggressive enough with how fast the course was playing. The combined girls JV team finished in third place tying their best finish of the season while the combined boys JV team overcame some rough luck on some first runs to finish in 4th place overall.
The Eastview girls were led by 8th grader Kylie Nelson who almost ran identical runs with her time differential being three one hundredths of a second with runs of 34.12 and 34.09 to finish in 22nd place overall. Not too far back from Kylie was fellow 8th grader Lilly Spade, who had a career best run of 34.81 to finish in 26th overall. Freshman Emma Huppert and 7th grader Lily RIngold fell just short of scoring points by a blink of an eye with twelve one hundredths of a second and twenty six one hundredths of a second respectively. The Eastview boys were led by sophomore Braeden Croft who finished in 29th place overall and fellow sophomore Jorden Gressman who finished 41st overall.
