The Eastview Boys Swim and Dive team won a hard-fought meet against Farmington on Tuesday, December 19, 2017. The meet was held at home.

The meet highlights include a first place finish for team Greseth, J. Poppitz, St. Clair, and Panikkar in the 200 medley. Other top finishers in that race included team Kunisaki, Lambert, Chambers, and Blodgett in third, and team Gloege Torp, DeSutter, Lilly, and Wefring in fifth place. In the 200 free, Gray touched third, M. Poppitz fourth, and Fisher sixth. J. Poppitz won the 200 IM, followed by Lambert in fourth and Kunisaki in fifth. In the 50 free, Greseth was first, Panikkar fourth, and Blodgett sixth. Sulistyo, Johnson, and Sprung took second, third, and fourth places, respectively in diving. Panikkar won the 100 butterfly, while Lilly came in fifth and Chambers sixth. In the 100 free, Greseth took first, St. Clair third, and Dressler sixth. Gray, Fisher, and Kovacs took second, third, and fourth places, respectively in the 500 free. In the 200 relay, team Panikkar, J. Poppitz, St. Clair, and Greseth were first, team Lambert, Blodgett, Gray and Wefring, were second, and team Loomis, Olson, Robinson, and Chambers were fifth. Kunisaki and M. Poppitz took second and third places, respectively, in the 100 back, and Gloege Torp was sixth. J. Poppitz won the 100 breaststroke, Lambert was second, and DeSutter fourth.

The JV squad came up short in Tuesday night’s meet, losing to Farmington by a score of 51 to 79.

Highlights include a first place finish for team Dressler, Portnov, Robinson, and Hendrickson in the 200 medley. In the 200 IM, DeSutter took third, and Robinson fourth. Top finishers in the 50 free were Wefring in second, Hendrickson in fourth, and Loomis in fifth. In the 100 free, Olson was second, and Clark third. Team DeSutter, Portnov, Lilly, and Clark touched second in the 200 relay, followed by team Hagen, Hayes, Johnson,m and Sprung in third, and team Dalzell, Holmen, Lev, and Yalamamchili in fourth. Portnov and Robinson came in first and second, respectively, in the 100 breaststroke. Team Olson, Hendrickson, Clark, and Dalzell won the 400 relay.
