The Eastview Boys Swim and Dive team competed against Eagan on Friday, February 2, 2018. Despite many strong performances, the boys lost the meet with a score of 84 to 92. Individual highlights follow.

In the 200 medley relay, team Montgomery, J. Poppitz, Panikkar, and Greseth placed first, while team Kunisaki, Lambert, Dyakin and Dressler were third and team Gloege Torp, DeSutter, Chambers, and Blodgett were sixth. Thompson placed third in the 200 free, followed by St. Clair in fifth and Gray in sixth. In the 200 IM, J. Poppitz was second, Lambert fourth, and Kunisaki sixth. Greseth and Panikkar touched first and second, respectively, in the 50 free, followed by Montgomery in fifth. In diving, Sulistyo was second and Sprung fifth. In the 100 butterfly, St. Clair was third, Kovacs fifth, and Dyakin sixth. Panikkar and Thompson placed first and second, respectively, in the 100 free, followed by Dressler in sixth. Greseth won the 500 free, Fisher was fourth, and Gray sixth. In the 200 free relay, team Lambert, St. Clair, Panikkar, and Thompson finished second, team Dressler, Gray, Blodgett, and Wefring fourth and team Chambers, Dyakin, Fisher and Robinson sixth. Montgomery won the 100 backstroke, Kunisaki touched third, and M. Poppitz came in fifth. J. Poppitz, Lambert, and DeSutter placed third, fifth, and sixth, respectively, in the breaststroke. The 400 relay team of J. Poppitz, Thompson, St. Clair, and Greseth placed first, team M. Poppitz, Dressler, Gray, and Montgomery second, and team Kunisaki, Chambers, Fisher, and Blodgett came in third.

The junior varsity lost their meet with a final score of 86 to 98. Individual highlights from the junior varsity meet follow.

In the 200 medley, team Wefring, Portnov, Lilly, and Loomis touched second. In the 200 free, M. Poppitz was first, Fisher second and Olson fourth. Kovacs won the 200 IM, followed by Robinson in fourth and DeSutter in fifth. In the 50 free, Blodgett was first, Wefring fourth, and Loomis sixth. Chambers, Lilly, and Gloege Torp touched first, second, and third, respectively, in the butterfly. Wefring was first in the 100 free, followed by Olson in second. In the 200 free relay, team Loomis, Portnov, Olson and Holmen placed third and team Sulistyo, Sprung, Johnson, and Yalamamchili placed fifth. In the backstroke, Gloege Torp was third, Clark fourth, and Dalzell fifth. Portnov and Robinson placed first and second, respectively, in the breaststroke. In the 400 relay, team Kovacs, Lilly, Loomis, and Gloege Torp touched first, team Olson while Dalzell, Clark, and DeSutter placed third.

The next meet takes place on Monday, February 5, 2018, at the Falcon Ridge Pool.
