Eastview Boys Varsity Lacrosse falls to Holy Angels 11-7
A hot and sunny Saturday afternoon game was played on the turf at the Academy of Holy Angels. Spectators got to see the brand new turf practice fields being installed adjacent to their stadium. The Lightning gets the scoring going first. Quick passing from Joe Stillings to Noah Desrocher to Jason Hill with a bouncer that hits the top of the net, 1-0 Eastview. The Stars come back quick to make it 1-1. At 4:51 Stillings battles his way around the back and to the side to score with a sharp angle shot, 2-1. A couple minutes later Hill plows through the front to score again, 3-1. The Stars make it 3-2. At 9:05 Stillings scores again solo, 4-2. First quarter ends with the Lightning in the lead 4-3.
The second quarter is scoreless for Eastview and ends with the Stars in the lead 7-4. A slow 3rd quarter finds each team scoring only once. The Lightnings goal comes off a quick restart from an out-of-bounds call.- a sharp pass to Hill for the quick flip. Eastviews 4th quarter highlights include: a pass from Ryan Krupke to Hill on the crease, and another goal by Hill from Stillings on an extra man opportunity. Jason Hill gets 5 goals, Joe Stillings gets 2. Final score Eastview 7, Holy Angels 11
