Monday: Practice 2:40 pm
Boys should meet by the weight room doors for practice.  Today will be an aerobic run

Tuesday: Practice 2:40 pm & spaghetti dinner @ 5:30 pm
Boys should meet by the weight room doors for practice.  Today will be a VO2 workout at the park.

Following practice today the team will have a spaghetti dinner in preparation for Thursday’s race.  Specific details & time will be announced at practice.

Wednesday: Practice 2:40 pm
Boys should meet by the weight room doors for practice.  Today will be a pre-meet practice. Boys should pack their meet day bag tonight prior to going to bed.  This should include spikes (with implements already in), uniform, extra clothing (especially for cold and rainy days later in the season), food, etc.. It is best to prepare the night before than scramble the morning of.

Boys should bring a lock for their school athletic locker starting today through the end of the week.  Please record your locker combination in a safe, and private, location so you do not forget it.

Boys will also be provided their uniforms today, please follow the instructions in caring for the uniform to help them last.

Thursday: St. Olaf Showcase 11 am @ St. Olaf College, Northfield
The bus for today’s meet will leave promptly from the South/East gym doors facing the student parking lot at 8 am.  The meet will begin at 11 am for all athletes. Prior to the race the boys will warm-up together as a team, and after the race the boys will need to warm-down.  Parents please help us coaches encourage the boys to warm-down immediately after their race by informing them to change shoes and go on their recovery jog prior to discussing the race and/or receiving snacks/drinks. The sooner the boys begin their recovery efforts, the more fully they will be able to recover from their efforts today, and the better they will feel over the next 24 hrs.  Cross Country meets can be an exciting, and possibly confusing, time for spectators who are unfamiliar with the spectacle that is a cross country competition, for more information regarding meet day activities please be sure to view our “Parent’s Guide” on our team information page where parents from the past have been kind enough to share their thoughts with future members of the Eastview cross country community.

Friday: Practice @ 8:00 am
Boys should meet by the weight room doors.  Today they will have a recovery run

Saturday: Practice on your own
There will be no formal practice today.  Boys will have a long run they should complete, however, and are certainly encouraged to find a teammate to run with if possible.  Lebanon Hills Park is a great place to do this!
