Game Recap
The Lightning came out on the wrong side of a wet and fast battle at Prior Lake last night. The Lakers were a sound team defensively and the Lightning were unable to break through the defense and get a goal. It was not for a lack of trying however. The Lightning out shot and had five more corner kicks than Prior Lake in the game.
The defense was outstanding all game long and it took a long range blast from a Laker to break the tie. It was the first goal Eastview has surrendered since August 31st , which ended in a 1-1 tie with Minnetonka.
The Lightning will regroup and take on one of the top rated teams in the state, Lakeville North on Thursday.
