Meet Recap

The Varsity Girls CC team finished close behind 3 ranked teams at yesterday’s conference meet. Laura Bestul and Margie Freed went out with the top pack and hung on through the 5K race finishing 4th and 5th with less than 4 second between them. Hannah Schwartz came back strong in her first varsity race. She was joined by Wagner, Martinez and Hedberg, all earning Honorable Mention All Conference Awards. The JV squad set a goal and met it. Anne Luzum, Amanda Oelke, Emma Hovde, and Paige Hammill ran great races all placing in the top 15. Anna Schumann was the final scorer and finished 30th out of over 240 runners! This was a great team effort by all runners. Today especially, I was proud to be called your coach.
